Industrial Unit Refurbishment
Following the successful refurbishment of Unit H on the Boyn Valley Industrial Estate, Maidenhead, MJC were awarded the tender for the refurbishment of Units E&F.
Totaling 1,046 sq m, these adjacent units, built in the mid 1960’s, were tired and non-compliant to modern building standards.
Working with CS2 Surveyors, we carried out full refurbishment. Internally all M&E, plumbing and heating were stripped out and replaced. New windows, doors and roller shutters were installed. Internally and externally, everything was redecorated. The roof was repaired using the DriSilane® Roofing Programme, a purpose designed system for the refurbishment of profiled steel roof sheets, seals and gutters.
Work was completed in 12 weeks, on time and on budget. The result was to turn two neglected, non-conforming sheds into valuable and rentable assets.
